We are a community that is gathering to discuss, educate and Implement,

various methods of transforming the City of Duluth into a functional Eco-Municipality that is based on the natural step principals.

you'll find in this site a diverse collection of networks and reasearch material that can help our community understand how living sustainable can affect our lives in a postive way. 


Sustainable Duluth has merged with the We Mean Green Team of the Knight Creative Communities Initiative sponsored by the
Duluth-Superior Area Community Foundation.

Many individuals and organizations throughout the state are working toward sustainability in areas as diverse as agriculture, waste management, energy, manufacturing, retail, urban planning, economic development, policy, housing, forestry, education, land use and transportation.
